Robin Sukatorn is a UK-based artist and illustrator documenting and reporting on the world around him through direct observation and live 'reportage' drawing, who started the project Drawing Democracy in 2015 during his MFA studies at the Manchester School of Art.

'Drawing Democracy' is an illustrated book bringing together over 140 illustrations from Robin's experiences witnessing and documenting scenes of democracy in action over two years in Manchester, around the United Kingdom, and on the east coast of the United States. Available to order 10 April 2018!

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the signing of the 1918 Representation of the People Act, a milestone law in the UK which granted full voting rights to all men and, for the first time in history, partial voting rights for women.
